SPRING CLEAN UP DURING MAY

Each Saturday, 9am-2pm, we’ll be doing outside clean up of our farm… weather permitting.  This work will mainly consist of poop scooping in the paddocks, raking the barn yard, raking uneaten hay in the paddocks, cleaning tack (equipment used on horses).

Join us for whatever time you can… 1 hour, 2 hours, 5 hours…. whatever your schedule allows.  No experience necessary.

Freihofer’s Run for Women/Community Walk -

Albany Empire State Plaza

Join us this year to raise money for STEP.  100% of the funds that STEP family raises will go directly to STEP.  We encourage everyone of all ages to walk with us.

You can participate in three ways:

1) Raise pledges & walk — Walker check-in…. check in with STEP between 11-11:30 (South Concourse -south of the bus turn-around)… Look for the STEP group – we’ll have a banner and some of us will be wearing our STEP tee shirts.  It’ll be busy, so please plan your arrival accordingly.  The walk will begin at 12pm and end approx 1pm.

Pledge form…. bring this form(s) and money to the event

2) Raise pledges for another walker (pledge form) then mail to:

We prefer forms and money to be sent to STEP by May 28th, but will accept them after this date.

Fundraiser: STEP Out With The Skeeter Creek Band

Join us for great music by the Skeeter Creek band (Bluegrass/Country/Southern Rock), barbeque food, raffles and family fun for all ages.
Come meet our clients,  volunteers and our horses.  We’ll provide some chairs, but we encourage you to  bring your own lawn chair.

Cost: $18 per person  / $12 children ages 5-12yrs (4yrs old and younger are free)
